The Inn on Golden Pond in Holderness, NH, Transfers

We are pleased to announce the transfer of the Inn on Golden Pond in Holderness, New Hampshire, to Kellianne and Darren LaValley. Inn Partners represented long term owners, Bill and Bonnie Webb, in the sale of the Inn.

The Inn on Golden Pond is ideally located in the active Lakes Region of central New Hampshire in the foothills of the White Mountains.  The Lakes Region is a popular summer destination, with activity peaking during the annual Laconia Motorcycle Week, and carrying into foliage season. Quintessential New England towns dot the region and all are a short distance from the Inn, as are active college towns and prestigious preparatory schools.

Four lakes define the region, with Lake Winnipesaukee holding court as the largest body of water in the region (and New Hampshire, for that matter) at 72 square miles.  Squam Lake is positioned just north of Winnipesaukee and provides a tranquil alternative to its southerly neighbor. In fact, Squam Lake is so restorative that it was chosen as the fictitious Golden Pond in the classic film “On Golden Pond” starring Katherine Hepburn, Henry Fonda and Jane Fonda.

Join us in welcoming Kellianne and Darren LaValley as new owners of the Inn on Golden Pond.

  1. Sad to see Bill and Bonnie leave after so many years of innkeeping, but I am looking forward to meeting Darren and Kellianne the end of July. I’ve always felt that the Inn was my home away from home. My husband and I had gone there for several years. Now that David has passed (7 years ago), I continue to go to the Inn, as I have many friends in the area–Rumney and Holderness. I always feel comfortable at the Inn, and that won’t change and my friendship with Bonnie and Bill is ongoing. I have the best of both worlds–old friends and new friends.
