New York City gets all the attention, but the state of New York has plenty more going for it than that town alone. Case in point: if you venture a few hours north of NYC to Cooperstown, you’ll find yourself lost in a beautiful green wilderness punctuated with picturesque towns and villages. You’ll also find a spectacular luxury inn for sale. 
This Cooperstown inn is anything but a standard small-town inn. Eighteen amazing guest rooms lay inside, each equipped with wireless Internet access, flat-screen televisions, and hotel-like amenities such as hair dryers and irons. Named for the county it rests in, the lake is a popular spot for fishing, boating, swimming, and just enjoying the warm sun. Interestingly, it’s also the main source of the Susquehanna River, which (if you have a lot of time on your hands) you could follow the whole way to Baltimore and the Chesapeake Bay. Otsego Lake is also the home of the Glimmerglass Opera, which is located on the lake’s west bank. The opera is actually named for the lake: James Fenimore Cooper, a native of the town, called the lake “Glimmerglass Lake” and even mentioned it in his novels The Pioneers and The Deerslayer.
We could go on about all of the amazing things you can find in this little New York town, such as the amazing museums and historical sites, the fantastic natural scenery, and the friendly and welcoming people of the community. In the end, though, it all adds up the same: Cooperstown is a fantastic place to visit or to live, and this inn is just part of the proof.
