Lookout Mountain is a well-known regional leisure travel destination located just 10 minutes from the scenic city of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The mountaintop destination is home to a diversity of attractions and natural wonders, including the famous Rock City Gardens, which draws over 500,000 visitors each year. Ruby Falls offers visitors tours of America’s deepest commercial cave and largest underground waterfall. The Incline Railway goes up the side of Lookout Mountain and is the world’s steepest passenger railway. A short drive down the mountain sits the active city of Chattanooga, voted one of America’s “Top Family Weekend Getaways” by Southern Living Magazine.
