Iowa’s Historic Hotel Pattee has transferred to new owners, Tom and Vickie Maxwell. The Maxwells live in Edwardsville, Illinois, where for 25 years, Tom ran a successful medical implant business. Congratulations to the Maxwells and to Sellers, Jay and Denise Hartz!
The Hotel Pattee is a historic 40 room boutique hotel located in Perry, Iowa, in greater Des Moines. Originally built in 1913, the hotel is on the National Historic Register and, thanks to a $14 million renovation in the late 1990’s, the property has become the centerpiece of the rebirth of the city. The hotel is truly a destination unto itself, boasting a state of the art bowling alley, a restaurant and lounge, a full service spa and fitness center, four meeting and events spaces and 40 individually appointed guest accommodations.
