It is difficult to find an idyllic New England town as active as Brattleboro, Vermont. Its numerous theaters, galleries, restaurants and annual cultural events keep the town vibrant, while views of the Connecticut River and Mount Wantastiquet serve as reminders of the natural landscape that surrounds the town. This Superlative Southern Vermont Bed and Breakfast is successful for the same reasons.

The Inn was built circa 1931 in a French Baronial style and is surrounded by lush gardens, including a large cut leaf Japanese maple tree. The Inn has six guestrooms; three rooms and one grand suite are located in the Main Inn, while there are two rooms in the Inn’s Carriage House. Public areas include a spacious common room with wood burning fireplace, a 3-tap pub with fireplace, sunroom with garden views, conservatory with original windows and tin ceilings and an outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens. Located on one acre, with direct access to walking trails, water and a wildlife sanctuary, the grounds are a veritable oasis.
