We have long said that Landmark Inn in Cooperstown, New York is one of the best properties with which we have had the pleasure of working. Of course, the draw of Cooperstown is in good part responsible for the Inn’s popularity and viability. For most of us, Cooperstown is synonymous with the Baseball Hall of Fame and indeed visitors to the Hall of Fame are the sugarplums that dance in the heads of Innkeepers in the area. But there is much, much more. The Glimmerglass Opera brings a different clientele to Cooperstown. The Farmer’s Museum and the Fenimore Art Museum add to the flow of visitors, as does Otsego Lake. The celebrated Ommegang Brewery and numerous wineries add to the mix.

TripAdvisor recognizes 30 Bed and Breakfasts in the area, but the Landmark Inn has enjoyed an uninterrupted run as the #1 Bed and Breakfast in Cooperstown. The Inn’s success can be attributed to the investment made by previous owners since their tenure began, including the recent addition of Cooperstown’s most luxurious accommodation, a spa suite, with king bed, gas fireplace, dream shower with body jets, and personal sauna. The long-term, committed staff has been trained to create the best guest experience in Cooperstown, and look forward to staying on to support new owners in their work.
